This has to be the best cell phone that Samsung has ever produced. I bought two, one for my daughter and one for me. They are superb for watching videos, the quad core processor is speedy and does not stop to buffer. I put in an extended battery with water resistant third party case and the battery life is at least three days. This model runs a very low number of background programs when the screen is dark thus saving much battery life. I like that you can install a very large memory card (up to 128 GB) and install an extended life battery. I think this is the best cell phone on the market, bar none. The super AMOLED 5.1" screen is super bright and the color is fantastic. The S5 is much, much better than the S6. The S6 is quirky to say the least, I have one of those also. Video performance on the S5 is better than on the S6. This may have something to do with the carrier, I have AT&T on the S6 and T-Mobile on the S5. I believe that the processor on the S5 is better than the one on the S6. If you have a choice you would be better off to get a Samsung Galaxy S5 (Unlocked) for around $200 than to buy an S6 or S7.

The S5 does most things right, but it has some major weaknesses.
The screen resolution and camera can compete with the best phones out there.
Samsung seems a lot like Microsoft, they install really cheap, basic apps that aren't very customizable.
I ended up buying a few apps online to replace the clunky, archaic junk that Samsung installed.
The processor is lightning fast, and loading apps is very fast.
Sound, call quality, and reception are average.
A sore spot is the battery life.
It seems to be more of a Lollipop OS problem than a Samsung issue, but for a top of the line phone, Samsung should have put more effort into it.
I installed a Battery Doctor app, and it dramatically increased battery life, but still not up to the level of even my cheaper LG D415 with KitKat OS.
I also found the Samsung UI very clunky and not very intuitive to use.
With the right tweaks, the S5 can be a great phone.
As it comes out of the box, a bit of as disappointment for the price.
Hopefully the Marshmallow upgrade will fix a lot of these bugs.

Not the bleeding edge of the Android world, but enough tech for the net. It is used for remote access to security cameras, netflix, e-mail, messaging, cooking timer, calculator, camera, video camera, and a phone. Now the bad news. These models have a screen connector that will dis-connect when dropped. It requires technical skills to remove the screen and re-connect, but youtube has many videos on how to do it and I have done it twice myself. Rule #1, don't drop it or get a good case. I hate cases so I just risk it. I had to purchase one screen, but the second drop only caused a disconnection. It's thin and fits well in the pocket. Lots of settings that can tweak your experience. Answers are just a google away.

This phone is awesome. There really is no need to spend the extra money to get a galaxy 7. Unless you are the type of person who needs the latest and greatest. The phone has pretty much the same features, more than most people need. The camera is crisp and shoots really good photos. Processing speed is fast. Overall great package and feel in hand. The water resistant feature is a definite plus, you can take this phone out on the water with you with piece of mind if it goes in the water with you it will continue to work. My phone has been in the ocean with me and everything it claims it works. Price mark is nice and in all a great phone. very user friendly.

The product conditions were totally new. I recommend this seller. In other hand, the bad thing of the Galaxy S5 SM-G900 Verizon, is that it has a lot of Verizon apps, which you couldn't remove unless you root your phone.
The proccesor speed is ok, but with many apps that are updating and getting heavier, it is kind of getting slow, but it totally works good.
Both cameras are regular. Not so good in low light. HD screen shows good colors.
The size of the phone is good for me, not so big not so small.
The worst part is the 2800mAh battery that lasts just of couple of hours.
For the price of $200 for this old version of the Samsung Galaxy family it worth it.

Did not want to spend 800 on a new phone and this one will do just about everything that they will do for a 4th of the cost. No contract is also a plus. Can't say anything bad about the deal all around. Having fun with it! I'll probably keep it a couple of years before I feel like I need an upgrade, but the processor and screen resolution and camera's are all still competetive with the new versions of this phone. It does not have wireless charging but who cares, the battery is removable and it charges fully very fast anyway. Can be upgraded easily as well to make it as powerful as the new versions. Just get it.

Came in perfect condition. Works well. Big step up from an S4. Battery doesn't last long, but I keep a couple spares around and replace them as they begin to die. Bought the two extra batteries and separate stand alone charger on ebay. They work and didn't cost too much. Three batteries are usually enough to get through a day of hard use. Nice that on this phone you can still just pop off the back and make the switch. Can't figure out why phone manufacturers have all moved to hard wired batteries. Doesn't make any sense -- at least not from a consumer's point of view.

The phone is similar to the S3 and arrived in great shape with all accessories promised. One disappointment was that the phone does not come with the same default and simple to use apps and widgets that I hoped would still be there.. One has to search and download apps that now often have ads. This is annoying and time consuming. There is a different look to the camera and how it operates that also takes some getting used to. the The charger cover also does not always close resulting in warnings. Other than that, it is crisp and cool as Galaxy's generally are

May not be the "flagship"of t mobile anymore, but with the many features, long Battery life, tends to be beat out MANY other phones that are High Value phones nice lil android phone which are hard to find anymore on the Market is why I have two and ordering another one refuse to pay 500 to a 1000 bucks for a Cell Phone when this one does way what is expected of it!!!!!!!!!!!!! was and is a bargain at less than 200$

Great phone! Was able to get it up and running without going to a sprint store. Did it all on the laptop and a couple of phone calls. SIM card was free , sprint reembursed the cost of the card on my next bill. Factory pre installed apps and some upgrade prompts are a nucence, but I guess that's normal. No way around that as far as I know.
